My Refcard Won't Download. What happened?

While most users won't have any problems (thousands have successfully gotten their PDFs), there are a few users that might experience problems.  The primary places where this might happen:

  1. You have an overly aggressive firewall on your network
  2. You're using an older Lotus Notes + IE 6 to read your email and download the PDF
  3. You're using IE7 with IE7Pro
If you have problems downloading, DO NOT TRY TO DOWNLOAD MORE THAN 5 TIMES.

To solve these problems, try the following things.  If you're already hit your maximum number of download attempts, please email support@dzone.com and forward us the email that contained your download link.

  1. This sometimes happens with IE 6 and the Firewall.  Try using IE 7 or Firefox.
  2. We've had reports that just using IE 6 works fine, Lotus Notes appears to be the problem. 
  3. This is a recent report, but it looks like IE7 Pro causes some problems with downloads.  Check that other downloads work or try Firefox.

Browsers are not the issue. Poor design of the PDF hosting technology is more the issue. To suggest that people change browsers just to download PDF's is out of touch. I suggest fixing the problem if you want users to be happy.

Please help me to get the PDF files. I have tried. I am not able to get it. I have registered myself in this site too. Please email me the attachment or give me the proper link to download it.

I am not able to try using firefox as there is no address in the email to copy and paste to firefox.  I have firefox installed on my work pc but am not allowed to make it my default.

Is there a way you can email me the pdf files directly?  or email me the actual address instead of a link in the email?

I have tried to download several PDF's but I haven't gotten any.  I am not sure of what the problem is.  Can they be sent to me via email?

Is there perhaps a Refcardz on how to download Refcardz from this site??

If the site hosting this valuable, authorative information isn't able to deliver the product to me, how am I supposed to trust the information in the first place?

I've downloaded the Design Patterns and the jQuery PDFs, but I'm getting a "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired." error message from Acrobat Reader while trying to open them.

So, I've tried to download them again but I'm getting a "warning" message from this site that maybe I have downloaded the same file a lot of times. But I've downloaded them just once.

What can I do to get those two refcardz files?

Unable to download any PDF. The links you are sending all showing same Error( site not found). I want Spring Annotation Down load.

I was able to download only 2 pdfs and after that its not working. I sent all my tokens to matta and support. Please send me those pdfs to my email id.

Switched from ie8 to firefox and downloaded without a problem!

I thought my problem is caused by the speed of Internet connection, So If I failed once, I can not download it anymore. It let me crazy.
